Instinctively and helplessly we collect shapes imbibed with meaning and intrinsic beauty from being crafted for a purpose and in that spirit, horse shoe nails were hung on necklaces in the nineteen-seventies. Cabeyo, a play on words, CAballo spanish for hair as the shades are woven from the hair cut from the tails of live horses, and woven on the oldest looms in the UK. This lighting collection descended from horse light and is extreme and complex work in shaping tailoring metal, hand made shades are wrapped with the raw horse hair material and give the most beautiful, warm and natural light you will find.
